خرد واقف نہيں ہے نيک و بد سے
بڑھی جاتی ہے ظالم اپنی حد سے

Barhi Jati Hai Zalim Apni Had Se
This reason of mine knows not good from evil,
And tries to exceed the bounds that nature fixed.
خدا جانے مجھے کيا ہو گيا ہے
خرد بيزار دل سے ، دل خرد سے
Khuda Jane Mujhe Kya Ho Gya Hau
Khirad Bezar Dil Se, Dil Khirad Se!
I know not what has happened to me of late,
My reason and my heart are ever at war.
